Cancellation Policy For Surveys and Works

Maljon has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel a survey or scheduled works within 48 hours of the appointment, you will be charged 50% of the total quoted or estimated cost.

If you rebook or rearrange the survey or works, no cancellation fee will apply.

If we visit a property to conduct a survey and are unable to gain access due to a no-show or refusal of entry, you will be charged 50% of the quoted survey cost. Similarly, if we arrive to carry out scheduled works and cannot gain access for the same reasons, you will be charged 50% of the estimated cost. 

In addition, if we find that the required preparation works specified in our report have not been completed, we will either perform the necessary preparations at a rate of £65.00 per hour. If we cannot complete the preparation work, an additional fee will be added to the cost of the rescheduled works to cover the wasted visit.
